Everybody is a Genius

Hello Internet,

Just take sometime to ponder what this whole image below then apply it to how you are living your life and the things you are trying to achieve. Sometimes it is good to sit back and find out if you are a fish trying to climb a tree and decided if you still need to be climbing trees of swimming across oceans.  😉

Something to Lose

Hello Internet,

I found one priceless gem from Steve Jobs. This will really help you overcome the fear to take action. Please share if you find value in it.

For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something … almost everything—all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure— these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.

Life long Learning

Hello Internet,

If you have been reading my blog for sometime you can tell that I am a believer in life long learning. I recently read a quote from Charlie Munger about learning. I think it is important to read and something you should pass on.

“Wisdom acquisition is a moral duty. It’s not something you do just to advance in life. As a corollary to that proposition, which is very important, it means that you are hooked for lifetime learning. And without lifetime learning, you people are not going to do very well. You are not going to get very far in life based on what you already know. You’re going to advance in life by what you learn after you leave here.

I constantly see people rise in life who are not the smartest, sometimes not even the most diligent, but they are learning machines. They go to bed every night a little wiser than they were when they got up and boy does that help, particularly when you have a long run ahead of you…

…So if civilization can progress only with an advanced method of invention, you can progress only when you learn the method of learning.”
